The leaves are turning, and Nova Scotia’s craft breweries are putting together quite a roster of great beer, no matter your palate. Over the next week or so our breweries will be releasing the following:
Good Robot Brewing – Tuesday, Sept 25th: Chris Joharchy is at it again! Some may remember his King In The North (End) Black IPA, this year he brings you Giantsbane Red IPA. Like a happy Tormund, it brings you mild honey sweetness, grapefruit zing and a little melon in the finish, and like an angry wildling, you can also expect mint icyness, lingering bitterness, and rye spice. Polaris, Warrior, and Halletau have combined for another winner.
Thursday, Sept. 27th: A frickin brand new IPL! They used Green Bullet, Ella, and Wai-iti and our favourite Mexican lager yeast to give you Swearwolves IPL. Fresh hop aromas of melon, lemony citrus, and some cheeky cherry notes and a smooth malt profile make this one another potentially dangerously tasty drink.
Sober Island Brewing – Raspberry Wheat Ale brewed with 95% local Horton Ridge Malt and local Raspberries with winner of Foraged Homebrew Competition Andrew Deveaux.Kirbys Canoe-Dry hopped rye pale ale brewed with local Horton Ridge Rye Malt.Saltbox Brewing Company – Make and Break DIPA is back! Hop forward with a little extra horsepower at 7.6% ABV and 92 IBU. We hope it ignites your thirst for a well-crafted ale.
Breton Brewing – Jack’d Up Pumpkin Ale is BACK! Brewed with over 150 lbs of pumpkin and perfectly spiced to give it that hint of delicious pumpkin pie. Available beginning TODAY in pints and growlers. Get it before it’s gone!
Boxing Rock Brewing – Marzen Oktoberfest, and Vienna Lager at 5.5% ABV
