Tap Rooms Can Reopen June 5th

The Government of Nova Scotia has announced that craft breweries that were forced to close tap rooms as part of the declared COVID 19 State of Emergency, are allowed to reopen on June 5th.

While we are allowed to open on June 5th, we still have a lot of work to do to make sure you are safe and comfortable in this period of transition. We are working on behalf of the industry to negotiate an operating framework with the Chief Medical Officer, for all breweries. This framework will include operating principles related to new public health recommendations on cleaning and sanitization, social distancing, and safe workplaces.

While we do this, individual breweries are ramping up to ensure you feel welcome and safe in our taprooms. New seating plans, serving procedures, sanitization protocols. and staff rehiring and training are underway.

This means we will open when we can, but not before we are ready. Your health and safety is our absolute priority as we move into this new era.

We look forward to welcoming you back and raising a glass! You deserve it.
